The Embedded Systems Group (ESG) of ASTI was formed to address the growing needs of the institute in terms dynamic software and embedded hardware designs.It was initially tasked to accommodate the needs for support of other ASTI projects for their embedded systems requirements.

Now, the ESG continues to be on the forefront of the embedded technology in the Philippines by continuously upgrading the group's level of competency to reflect the dynamic changes in the embedded field. ESG also leads the way by promoting and convincing the academe and industry into becoming the users of information technology, instead of just its inventors.
